A cycle is 28 days, thus there are 13 cycles in a year. And we have VFR charts now, Foreflight and SkyDemon subscriptions are more expensive than a navigraph subscription. We release new Navdata according to the AIRAC cycle which is numbered YYNN (where YY is the two last digits of the year and NN is the cycle number). Charts are either very expensive or hard to find in one place, and we get them all (Jeppesen, which i think are the best), plus navdata every month and some very nice software to link it to the sim.
Since our Charts are also from Jeppesen, and are also updated each AIRAC cycle, using Navigraph’s services for both Navdata and Charts will result in the best possible match between data and charts. With a subsciption you can also get current data in our SimBrief product, and a wide range of direct integrations including X-Plane Mobile and Volanta. The source data is tested and parsed into different data formats adapted to specific addon software designed to increase the realism of flight simulation. Our Navdata product is sourced from Jeppesen, a professional navdata provider for major airlines worldwide. Navigraph has provided navdata to the flight simulation community since October 2006 after the merger with Richard Stefan of NAVData-Service who had previously worked on similar data processing since 1999. Subsequently the data contains a massive amount of information to determine not only location of airports and waypoints, but also surface type and slope of runways, the layout of airport gates, navaid frequencies, holding patterns, obstacles close to defined routes, and much more. To use the FMS Data Manager, one needs a Navigraph user account with access to either a single cycle of FMS Data or a 4 or 13cycle subscription.Navdata (also known as FMS Data) is a general purpose dataset used for in a wide array of applications ranging from flight planning systems in the operations office to various navigational and performance systems onboard. Currently, the FMS Data Manager is available in English for Windows desktop platforms, but extensive language support, as well as support for Mac and Linux, is expected soon.Cycle 2003 Available: : Cycle 2003 has been released! Please update your tools and addon aircraft FMS databases via the FMS Data Manager.The current Jeppesen charts are already available through the Navigraph Charts apps. The navdata is distributed via the FMS Data Manager. New in Navigraph Charts Desktop 6.0.15 Build 1127: Navigraph now supports Little Navmap with regular navdata updates. The subscription also includes access to navigational data for all important addon software in the flight simulation community which update automatically with the Navigraph FMS Data Manager software. Navigraph Charts is available as a subscription without any minimum binding period for 8.30 EUR per month (approx 9.30 USD).
